(00 Nights - 01 Days)

Places Covered In Above Program
The Char Dham Yatra is an annual pilgrimage to India’s four holiest Hindu holy places located at the four corners (CHARDHAM)of the country. It namely consists of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath are also popularly known as ‘Teerth Yatra’ by the pilgrims. These four holy places are located in the different districts of Uttarakhand. As per the Hindu tradition of taking rounds Knowns as Parikrama, Devotee’s start this holy journey from left to right. It starts evolved from Yamunotri Temple, the westernmost temple within the Garhwal dedicated to the Goddess Yamuna. Yamunotri is one of the most important holy destinations where the sacred river of India, the river Yamuna originates. It is situated at an altitude of 3293 meters above sea level, in the Garhwal Himalaya about 40 km away from Barkot. It is a belief about river Yamuna, that yam raj was the brother of river Yamuna and on BHAI DHOOJ, who takes a dip in the holy water would attain salvation. Besides the Yamuna Devi, the idol of Ganga Devi to is housed in the river temple. Yamunotri is pollution free, and tourist will enjoy the calm and cold tides of the river Yamuna. There are so many hot water springs near the temple, Surya Kund is the most important among them. Devotee boiled potatoes and rice and served them as Prasad. Of these, the Char Dham yatra in Uttarakhand is as strenuous as it gets and it requires good health to journey by road and on foot to Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Yamunotri Yatra by Helicopter the Kedarnath route is the toughest with a trek of about 14 to 16 km involved, not a cakewalk for people advanced in years. Still, with time at their disposal, people in the olden days used to travel for a year or more on pilgrimages. The Chardham yatras first point is Yamunotri. And the helicopter yatra makes easy and convenient for the yatries to reach the holy places at an easy of few hours.
